  1. great video. You can get lush makeup from L’Oreal to test before you buy. I got the latest maybelline mascara from “gratismakeupsamples”.

you are right, the look is unflattering. however, it’s great to know how makeup was used throughout each era. i am currently studying makeup and find your vids very, very helpful. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

That 1920s make-up looks much better with 1920s hair. With straight hair you look goth. Great effects on the black-white though, much more authentically old than you see on other youtube videos.

Cool video. I’m not a makeup artist, but still interesting to learn about makeup in the past.

  19. this is great!
i would also love if you could do a tutorial on how to clean makeup brushes. your videos are always easy to pick up and learn and look great!

  20. I’m doing a Clara Bow look for my channel on Monday. Have you heard of Besame’ cosmetics? They have a lipstick shade that is perfect for this era…it’s called Noir Red and it literally looks black under black and white film.

Loved this video! I went to a 1920’s party and used this video to apply the make-up! It turned out great! Thanks so much!!

try exfoliating.. you might have a build up of dead skin.. exfoliating always helps my makeup go on more smoothly and just brightens up your face anyways. also it could be the makeup/brushes you are using

I’m only in highschool I wish I could wear this makeup look there its so pretty I love the 20s

  24. AniVaroni says:

you kind of remind me of khloe kardashian.. kim kardashians sister, but youre a prettier version i would say… anyway how does all the different types of concelears n eye brighteners go on sooo smoothely on your face? is it a camera thing or is there a trick cause i feel that when i apply it its not 100% silky and invisible
