This is just a brief description of what I use to shampoo my hair. The websites that I mention are www.nioxin.com for all Nioxin products and www.4alterna.com for all Alterna products.
@TheWealthyWoman I’m in the process of transitioning but co-washes (conditioner) have helped tremendously. Especially on days that I work and sweat alot from my scalp. Are you a member of any hair boards? If not, Hairlista and K.I.S.S. are great ones to check out.
Thanks again for great information.
I work out 3-4 times a week and I have a relaxer. How often should I wash my hair, and is there a way that I can stay away from putting heat, whether blow drying or flat ironing it after working out?
Although you have such PRETTY hair ,(and gorgeous smile) this was very boring. It would have been much more interesting showing the action you were talking about instead of just 10 minutes of the very same shot.
thanx for your vids, but i will like to know what do you recommend for transitioning to natural from relaxed hair and also my hair it has more of a thighter curl parterns n coarse than yours i would really appreciate it thanx…………
Rachael I was going natural, but a few weeks ago I got a perm now, she didn’t make my hair straight but what it did was tame my hair. Now when I wash it is is curly, I have coil curls, it is gorgeous, BUT, I have to learn how to trap that moisture so that I can not get that frizz, when it is wet is it looks beautiful, since I have only about 5 inches of hair it isn’t long enough yet, but she did layer it for me, so now I am blow drying it straight and flat ironing. Any advice?
Hi I am currently watching your videos and I must say that they are very informative. I am currently learning to care for my own natural hair and you have been a god send :~) Can you do a tutorial on the style that you are wearing now? Also, since I am just starting to wear my hair out I notice it is extremely frizzy at the ends which tends to give me a big bushy look, what can I do to tone it down and make it look straight?
Hi Rachel! Your hair is beautiful and I can tell you def know what you’re talking about.
I have a thick (4 A & B) relaxed texture. I’d love to try the alterna but am on a tight budget. Are there any products you could suggest that are a little less expensive?
tip-dont chew gum while you record a vides
(not in a bad way i love you videos the gum thing just kinda takes away from your words and you know your hair trust me)
if i have relaxed straight hair and want to start using your shampoo regimen would you recommend alterna caviar??
Lotion Source has some really good prices on these products if you are looking for better deals.
