Totally agree, Evening Primrose oil is my skin saviour!
@mirandarosepetal no way! if you are applying foundation to your face always use a primer. no exceptions, or the foundation with clog your pores when you sweat. if you are not wearing makeup then of course don’t apply it. every time you apply foundation to your face your skin cant breathe, thats why it is always good to try to not wear it. i try to leave my skin bare at least 3 days a week.
I agree that Tea Tree oil works great alos Dickinsons witch hazel astringent works great!
Applying a face primer before you put on make-up is actually bad for your skin, as it doesn’t allow it to breath. It’s supposed to be used every once and a while, say before an important gala event or dance, not on a frequent basis. Just in case you didn’t know!

@jenniifer33 its kinda hard to just get on accutane- its gen for cystic acne and/or ppl who have tried numerous meds for long amts of time. i have had acne for 15 yrs and tried every pill and cream out there but bc i didnt have the right type of acne i cldnt get it. they dont just hand the stuff out bc its some serrrious stuff. also my sis (who DID have cystic) took it and 6 yrs later she does get the occasional/monthly break out. so u can get pimples again just not to the same magnitude!! :]
@HollyGoLightlyxox actually its not so much what you want but moreso what ur doctor thinks of course. i had one derm a few yrs ago say they would be wiling to give me accutane had i not been attending college out of state (since you have to take pregnancy test frequently), whereas the next derm i visited said in no way was i a candidate since ,while i had a fair amt of acne, it wasnt cystic. i dont think youd be a candidate either holly :] bc u dont seem to have cystc acne all over (thank god)
@morethananything yes tea tree oil also works! i forgot to add that one, thanks! i tried the asprin mask, not so well, but bi-carb soda mixed with cetaphil makes an amazing home made exfoliant
im leaving accutane till very last when i have no other options & i tried the pill a couple years ago but it didn’t help at all!
You can also try 100% tea tree oil, or the aspirin mask! Btw, Accutane is for really severe acne and also very risk, BUT I know that having acne has a really negative effect on self-esteem, so I guess if you feel like acne is making your every day life worse one should use it.
Also, birth control helps too!

@jenniifer33 my doctor told me about that, but i have been really hesitant to go on it. there are so many side effects, but i guess if this doesn’t work i will

try accutane 2 of my friends used it and they havent gotten any pimples since they’ve used it ! go check out the site and stuff to learn about it
accutane 100% will work for you , you will never get acne again it’s a medication your doctor has to prescribe you … you’re not aloud to drink alcohol while you are on it it’s a very serious medication 2 of my friends took it and they has SERIOUS acne and they’ve never gotten a pimple again …. i believe they took it for a year …go check the website out or ask your doctor
