  2. Sis, stop believing everything caucasions tell you. Take a trip to the Caribbean or to the hottest climates of Africa and you will see that our people have lived there w/out sun screen for millions of years. Your melanin is your natural protection, as chemical melanin remains unchanged up to 400 degrees. If u told my St. Lucian relatives this nonsense they’d laugh u off the island like the 1st person kicked off of Survivor.

Your beautiful chocolate skin is all of the protection u need.

  3. You are beautiful!

Hyperpigmentation is an internal problem. It comes from an over accumalation of toxins in your blood stream. Just as acne. Most acne scars come from a parasite called candita ablicans, which penetrates the intestinal tract and gets into the bloodstream; it also causes many other problems, such as brittle nails and thin hair

  9. Brodavidbrayboy, Thanks for the compliment!

Drinking diet soda is very bad given the aspartame that is in most diet drinks. It is a neurotoxin. Good advice on the sunscreen.

  19. luk, your not the first one to say that, it’s scenescreen, (:

  20. Lukatmee, I have suggested that also, they say it looks fake.

  21. Also lukatmee, the issue with young girls are all the magazine ad’s, video’s and media, it causes them to not love themselves, they are never satisfied with how they look. It affects little girls too, my friends 8yr old daughter, will not eat a slice of pizza, drinks only diet soda, and refuses cake on her own birthday. I’m not saying eat junk food, I eat very healthy, but i am a firm believer in treating yourself. When I was 8yrs old, I was enjoy life, life is so fast now. Looks rule the world.

  22. Tanning Booths are like a microwave oven for the skin. Very bad. Spf over 30 provides hardly anymore protection. So basically what I mean is at least spf30. Young girls seem not to listen, they just laugh when I tell them they damaging being done to their skin, and say “I want to get darker, I’m too white”. I show them in a special machine that shows damage that will appear in about 15yrs or less, they just say turn it off, that’s gross, don’t show me anymore. Not all but most don’t care.

  23. I just like to keep people updated with the most info i can.(smile)
